It is perfectly safe to add your account details to the E-mail Notifier. Your details are encrypted and saved locally on your computer. They are not shared with any third party.
The Search Box is an integral part of the SuperDork toolbar experience and cannot be removed. Have you tried clicking the arrow inside the Search Box? You'll find customized searches there that we hope you'll find useful.
